I've just heard the disturbing news that Hollyweird is planning a movie version of the greatest sitcom ever... Giligan's Island. All I can do is scream, "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" at the top of my lungs and hope that "they" do not do this. They have consistantly screwed up classic TV shows in the past when turning them into movies and would probably do so with this.
UNLESS...
the Cohen Brothers do it with the following cast:
Gilligan- Steve Buscemi
Skipper- John Goodman
Thurston Howell III- Cary Elwes
Mrs Howell- Annie Potts
Ginger- Julianne Moore
Professor- Robert Downey Jr
Mary Ann- Holly Hunter
I might actually be able to live with that one.
