The toughest part of being in Iraq is, of course, that I miss my family.
The second toughest part of being in Iraq is, no COLD showers. Yes, I said/typed c-o-l-d showers. You see, I like to take hot showers, get all soaped up, rinse and then blast away with the cold water. Slams the pores shut and invigorates the hell out of you (after you catch your breath). But alas, when your water tanks are external AND mounted on a tower in the glow of a never ending Sun... cold water is one thing you do NOT get.
