Gun of the Day- "Zoe and Josh" Edition

Growing up I loved watching Wanted: Dead or Alive. As an adult I loved watching Firefly. When Rossi released this little baby, I bought one. Mine is the .38spl/.357 version and it is a joy to shoot. And yes, I do know the difference between a Mare's Leg and a Ranch Hand... You just try finding a Mare's Leg.

Pistol cartridge lever-actions have had attention of the American public since the days of the Old West when having a rifle and pistol that shoot the same caliber just made sense.

There are numerous variations-rifles, carbines, standard loop, oversized loop-including Rossi s Model 92 hybrid-the Ranch Hand. The Ranch Hand is available in three popular pistol rounds- .38 Spl./.357 Mag., .44 Mag. and .45 Colt.

The Ranch Hand s 12-inch barrel complies with federal regulations, and features a gold-bead front sight with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight and an oversized loop lever.

  1. A friend got one as soon as he could and it is really a fun gun. For most of its real-world applications either a handgun or rifle would be better, but who cares? The thing is FUN!

  2. Yeah, and the funny thing is; it's sold as a pistol. So, if you can figure out a way to conceal it, you could carry it!
