Legislation that would grant concealed carry rights to law-abiding gun owners could be called for a vote by the Illinois House of Representatives this month.
State Representative Adam Brown (R-Decatur) is urging concerned citizens to sign a petition supporting passage of House Bill 5745, the Family and Personal Protection Act. Brown is a co-sponsor of HB 5745, which establishes statewide standards for the issuance of licenses to carry concealed firearms in Illinois.
